PLAYING WITH LONG EXPOSURE

Sunday 2 December 2012

A very tiny post, just a little experiment I made in my very short trip back to my home town. We were having a late fireworks night, setting off some of the Sainsbury's leftover fireworks stock, when I decided after the sparklers ran out that I was going to continue light-painting. I've been getting a little more ambitious with my ideas for light painting since watching some of the gems which are on Vimeo. I was playing around with using my phone to light up the underside of my face in different sections of the frame, using a long shutter speed to get all of it. At some point I'd like to start doing more time-consuming set ups and really plan my images.
