TWENTY ONE YEARS

Tuesday 10 July 2012

Today would have been your twenty-first birthday; if we were still in America, you'd have finally been able to go out for a drink. You'd be graduating around this time too. I wonder what you'd have studied. We'll never know; maybe you'd be a cross between me - your little sister - and your little brother. Somewhere between Sports and Geography, or English and Art. It's all guesses. How would you have handled being the eldest, the one to test the waters? My friends would probably have crushes on you, much to my embarrassment. I wonder how tall you'd be, and how much your hands and feet might have grown from those tiny ink pressings.
