It's the cousins' last night with us, and whilst playing badminton in the near pitch darkness I had a sudden inspired thought. Light painting! I haven't done it in a long time, and I'm also incredibly bad at working out how things look backwards, so I shied away from long words and instead drew nice shapes. Brother dearest shocked everybody by drawing a perfect representation of male genitalia in light form, however this blog is supposed to be a representation of art and other such fine topics and so the aforementioned picture won't grace this page (unless people really want to see it.) As you can see I also made a little romantic picture for the boyfriend - aren't I just the best girlfriend ever? I've gone a bit GIF crazy now and nearly everything I see I plan GIFs of. I lead an exciting life.
Obviously light painting works best if you're against a fully black background, but this was just a bit of mucking about. I'm really excited to get into my university room and set up properly for this kind of thing when it's two in the morning and I'm bored of writing essays on Chaucer or something. Might even bring in some different coloured lights...
These turned out so rad! Definitely something I have to give a go, though not sure I'd have the accuracy of your brother haha ;)
