"In search of enchanted and remote lands typically only reserved for the eyes of its inhabitants, but now are captured on camera by the automated and aesthetically-neutered street view cars that linger."

I can't quite remember how I came across these Google Streetview cinemascapes from Aaron Hobson (otherwise known as the Cinemascapist), but I'm so glad I saved his website because these shots are such gems. I've seen a lot of Streetview exploring, but none as stark and beautiful and strange as these images. It's making me itch to go and travel, or to at least do some Streetview stalking of my own. I'd urge you to go look at the rest - I'm going to post my favourite bits of his other work tomorrow.
