I was lucky enough to see one of my favourite bands, Radiohead, on their O2 Arena date this month. We queued for a good few hours, but ended up right up at the front barriers in the centre, so it was completely worth it! Usually with large venues like the O2, cameras aren't permitted if they look vaguely professional, and after checking on the website it seemed like this was going to be the case on the night. I was taking my camera out and about during the day, so took it anyway and planned to leave it in storage, but when I got to the front of the queue the security guard showed me straight through, and so I got to take my Nikon D7000 in, complete with fisheye lens! Being so close was great, as it gave me a chance to get some shots of such a large band at a relatively good quality (though downsizing them here has made them a little blurry). Their set was amazing, and they played some of my favourite songs, including Street Spirit, Paranoid Android, Videotape, Weird Fishes.... (see the setlist here) but I was disappointed in not getting 15 Step or Climbing up the Walls. With a record history like theirs there's just no way that I could get every song I wanted to hear because there's just too many songs for them to play. They were supported by Caribou (second to last picture) who put on a great set as well. The last picture is of the boys in complete awe!
