Some photographs I took this evening after it got dark. It's the second to last night that I have at home and it's starting to feel a little odd that I'll be leaving this all behind. This is the fountain at the side of my garden; my dad dug the pond for my brother and I when I was little; I still remember looking out of my window just as it was getting dark in the summer and seeing my dad dutifully digging out the boat-shape of the pond, and the moment when we laid the railway sleeper as a little bridge. I've been experimenting a little with focus and abstract photography recently.

  1. You're so good with abstracts! I love trying to guess what they are before reading the blurb. x hivenn
