ORIGINAL | Fly into the sun

Saturday 14 May 2011

Seeing as Blogger has given me my last post back and seems to be working again, fingers crossed, I thought I'd put some photos up from the trip I took to the Natural History Museum in London. There's a lot more, but I loved these. They currently have an exhibition of live butterflies which they hatch from chrysalides in the purpose-built greenhouse just outside the museum. There are hundreds of them inside, feeding on plants bought specially for their needs and within a controlled environment. It is incredibly hot and humid inside, and a little uncomfortable if you're not fond of flying things and/or insects (like I am!) but it was such a beautiful experience and a great photo-op.
