A few photos I took last night once the sun had gone down. My mum is on a nature photography course with her lovely camera (Nikon D300 with a seriously swanky macro lens), and seeing her photographing dandelions (first two images) reminded me that I wanted to try out an idea that my friend at college had seen done before, because I was intruiged to see whether it worked or not. It didn't, exactly. The idea was to set a dandelion gone to seed on fire, and then blow it to look like sparks... but they burn real quick once they're on fire! I much prefer the coloured shots, produced when focusing the camera on the flower using my phone.
